Swim School

Our swimming lessons are taught by qualified instructors following the Learn to Swim Scheme, a nationally recognised programme. It is designed to enable children to learn a wider range of skills, as well as focusing on swimming shorter distances using good stroke technique.

From September 2015 we introduced our new timetable and badge scheme, which will include the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) learn to swim programme. The ASA runs parallel with the national curriculum swim programme taught in schools. The award scheme runs from a foundation stage through to competitive swim levels (at stage 10).  However you can view full details on the official ASA website at www.swimming.org

Group lessons and one-to-one or two-to-one swimming lessons

Group Lesson:

During term time we run weekly group swimming lessons. We run group lessons for stage 1 all the way though to stage 10. Our stage 1 classes start from four years onwards. Our group lessons run on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. We do also offer pre-school classes which children can start from the age of three.

121 or 221 Swimming Lessons (Juniors and Adults)

  • 121 Swimming Lessons: 121 Swimming Lessons are a great way to help your child develop their water confidence and refine stroke technique. Suitable for all, from a total non-swimmer to Squad level and advanced.

  • 221 Swimming Lessons: 221 swimming lessons are a great way for two children of a similar level to work together to improve their swimming, from stroke technique to diving.
