Teamwork, Enjoyment, Perseverance and Sportsmanship.

Skills Development Camps

Our Skills Development Camps currently include sports such as rugby, squash, football and netball and are run by our resident sports professionals and qualified coaching staff, often in conjunction with coaches and players from elite level clubs.

These are aimed at children aged 11 to 14 of all abilities and focus on developing individual skills, match awareness, on-field leadership and a team ethos.

Participants will learn from the wealth of experience our coaches have amassed from involvement in high-level sports. They will also receive expert athletic development advice delivered by our Strength & Conditioning Coach, ensuring that they benefit on and off the sports pitch. Many of our camps also include time in the pool.

Junior Multi-Sports Camp

Designed by experienced coaches and childcare professionals, our three-day Multi-Sports camp offers an interesting and diverse session, seeking to develop core skills and a sense of fun across a broad range of team and individual sports.

Inline with the Sevenoaks School sports philosophy of opportunity and excellence our Junior Multi-Sports camp offers an introduction to and early development of a variety of sports ranging from football to tennis, tag-rugby to badminton and kwik-cricket to basketball. We start with the basics and build to more advanced levels, according to ability and interest and focus on fun as much as learning while also helping to develop budding sports stars.

Previous camps have concluded with a day made up of sports chosen by the children, and a mini Olympics including time in the swimming pool and on the athletics track.

We often work with visiting coaches, including Invicta CricketBadminton by Lydia and Sevenoaks Tennis to help deliver our sessions.

Taster Days

We are also keen to support the development of new sporting initiatives and are proud to offer Taster/Experience days encouraging children to try new sports. These are often designed and delivered in conjunction with the relevant national governing body.

Warm Up and Cool Down Clubs

We offer Warm Up and Cool Down clubs before and after each sports camp. These are optional, and will incur an additional cost of £5 per session. They run from 8am-9am and 3pm-4pm.
